Homestead Help

Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect the minimum we need to run Homestead Help, and we don't sell your data to anyone. If you never sign in, what you enter into the app — your saved gear, chores, plan, wishlist, Vault notes, and home location — never leaves your device.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the app, we collect:

What stays on your device

Everything outside of Community — your home location, saved gear list, chore checklist, homestead plan, wishlist, and any notes you keep in Vault — is stored on your device. If you're signed out, it's never sent to our servers, and it disappears if you clear the app's data or switch devices.

If you sign in, the app also keeps a copy of that data in our database so it syncs across your devices. Vault photos can be excluded from sync in the Account tab. Deleting your account removes the synced copy.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of outside services to run the app, and each only sees what it needs to do its job:

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account tab. Doing so permanently removes your Community profile, posts, comments, direct messages, uploaded photos and videos, your synced data, and your login, and cancels any web subscription. Data stored on the device you delete from is cleared too.

Age requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use Community.
